Summer Bishil is an American actor who is most well-known for her performance as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). The actress was previously recognized by playing an American girl aged 13 Jasira Maroun who undergoes tumultuous personal experiences in the context of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Her subsequent selection as one Variety's Top 10 Actors of 2007 was also a great recognition. Crossing Over, a 2009 thriller that focuses on crime, in which she portrayed a female role titled Taslima Jangir, was selected as one of the Independent Spirit Award nominee for the Best Female Lead category. She has also acted in films such as The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and was a guest on several roles on television apart from acting as the co-lead for Lucky 7.
